BIRDLIST FROM STEVE COLEMAN BIRDWALK
Saturday, May 14, 2005
We had a good day and a good count. A very unusual sighting was a Golden Eagle, rare in Maine. And we all got to hear the insane giggle of a Sora rail shouting at us from a few feet away. Of the 41 species found, 10 were identified by sound alone. Of the others, many were noted first by sound. Most were heard at least once.
